We will begin this course by creating and using maps to explore the physical geography of the world. We will then switch our focus to the history and geography of many regions of the world by investigating the rise and fall of major civilizations and how various religions adapted to change. We will conclude the course with an examination of the rebirth of art and literature known as the Renaissance, which will lead into the Age of Exploration.
